Rights and removal requests

EvidenceLib republishes third-party text only when its licence allows it: Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) or CC0. Every such page names the authors, the journal or publisher, the licence with a link, and the original source. We do not use non-commercial, no-derivatives or unlabelled material, and we do not copy figures or images.

What we republish

  • Open-access articles: 1,010 review articles, each confirmed as CC BY or CC0 both by Europe PMC and in the article's own XML. Text, tables and references are unchanged.
  • Textbooks: 35 books: OpenStax editions at revisions whose licence is CC BY 4.0, and historic natural-history books deposited under CC0 on Zenodo by the Biodiversity Heritage Library community.

Our rights record

For every republished item we keep the title, credited authors, licence and licence URL, source URL, how the licence was verified, the date it was checked and the page address. The full register (1,045 items) is public: rights register (CSV).

Ask us to remove or correct something

If you hold the rights to something on EvidenceLib, or believe an item is wrongly licensed, credited or described, email legal@evidencehelix.com with:

  • the address of the page;
  • what you hold or what is wrong, and how you can show it (for example a link to the original licence);
  • how to reach you.

We review each request, and if the claim is valid we remove or correct the item.
